Project Summary
GoGreenOnCamano.com - Static to CMS Conversion
In order to provide our client with the capability to easily and quickly make changes and updates to her website content, Point B Web converted her existing static design to our own PBW CMS platform. Because she was happy with the design, we were able to maintain the existing styles and layout while providing her with all of our robust CMS features and by moving her site to our web host, she now has more advanced control and statistics functionality.

Problem
Linda had a professionally designed and built website, but when it came time for her to update the content, she found out that because it was built with static HTML, she could not update it herself without knowledge of HTML. A common shock that many of our clients have experienced. She also had no control over the SEO aspects of her site. Linda did not want to have a whole new site built and was on a very tight budget. That's when she called Point B Web.

Solution
Our solution was a simple, cost-effective conversion from her existing static HTML site to our CMS platform. Because our CMS is highly flexible, we were able to fairly easily merge her layout and design with our application and then migrate her content to the back-end database.

Result
The result is a website that Linda can easily manage and that has all of the features and flexibility of PBW CMS. She can even manage content pages that reference an external listing application (Windermere MLS) and change the parameters to create new content or change existing listings results. She can also manage all of the metatags on each page to maximize the search engine optimization benefits. This project had the quickest turn-around time (six days) of any previous project.
